We go by FHL rerates. You mean NHL rerates based on his NHL play so what is your point? He was a 75 last season and a 79 this season so he'll definitely be a 79 next season?

Kris Draper is in the same boat as Walker. (although Draper will be a checker the rest of his career while Walker won't) Hey now. Let's keep Draper out of this. He put up points this season, and I expect it to stay that way. I mean, look at his last name... "Draper". He's a D-Raper. Because of that, he will keep putting up 50 points

Elias is a top 10 player in the league that plays his position. 70-80 pts average. Gagne is what 40-50 pts and not in top 15 at his position. Hence the 2nd rounder. Markov is still unproven. Poti will be on NYR power play and will put up more points than Markov will hence the other 2nd rounder. Youve proved me wrong I guess... Elias is good yes, but Gagne is too, he had 3 years in a row where he improved on the previous year point totals until the past two seasons. His value may have fallen but I still consider him a potential number 1 line guy. I also agree with Pitts, Markov is way the frick better than Poti IMO... now and in the future.. dont forget that Elias was a second rounder... So if you turn those picks into two players half as good as elias than you ripped him off... I didnt think it was 60/40 but ok... He gets the better players now, loses in the long run. Hey I'll trade my now for your future too.

New Jersey and Detriot have reached a blockbuster deal. To New Jersey: Modin, Mapletoft, Detroit's 2nd and 3rd in '05 To Detroit: Weight, Eminger, Devereaux, NJ's 3rd in '06 On hold. this deal cannot be made as i already acquired Detroits 3rd rounder in 05' in the Eric Desjardins deal. Jersey and I have agree to drop the 3rd Rounder. So the trade is now: To New Jersey: Modin, Mapletoft, and Detroit's 2nd in '05 To Detroit: Weight, Eminger, and Devereaux

okay, IMO the Walker deal was fair. Drew Stafford is not pegged as a 3rd liner, he could be a solid 2nd line, two way player, he also plays RW, something my team needs. Hes fast, plays great defense, and his offense will get better, he may play top line minutes at ND. and hes american ;D
Scott Walker is one of my favorite players, he is the heart and soul of the Preds like Wally said, and he was the highest rated player on my team, but he is injury prone, and one more concussion could easily end his career.
Drew Stafford should evolve into a very Walker-esque type player, Good leadership, speed, tenacity, aggresiveness, plus I got a 2nd round pick

If The TB-FLA trade goes thru, the Panthers have really done a great job of stockpiling some major young talent. It may take a few years, but he's gonna get there, for sure.

haha, thanks man. its gonna be tough for a while, but I should emerge as a dominant team The real questions is will you kill yourself the next few years watching this team struggle because they are going to be bad team, but in 3-4 years you will have a powerhouse.
