According to you Shirokov is eligable to be drafted in our league cause he made himself eligable in the NHL draft. Passed over or not he can be drafted by us. We're good on that. Pock and Elco are in the same boat. They were both euro free agents in our league. Pock signed with the Rangers to make himself active on waivers here. Elco is still uneligable for waivers here because he's unsigned in the real NHL. He can't be drafted here because he did not decalre himself for the real NHL draft. Just like no real NHL team can draft him in 05. We can't draft him in 05. So what were we arguing about!?!?!? Gabby>Hossa ;D

If Elco has to be drafted in GMHL 1st how can jackets pick Elco off waivers before he's drafted? Cause I have to go back and edit the waiver selection page.

Looking back Yared Hagos and Jaroslav Balastik are real nice pickups for Florida and Columbus respectively.
Florida, when/ how did you get Petr Prucha?

I think we need to change our waiver system ... I understand that we want the bad teams to get better, ect. ... but I think we need to reset the waiver priority in each claim period. Realistically, one of the high waiver teams could've every single one of the new NHL players this week.
My thoughts? Prioritize the waiver claims.
1. I want to claim XXXXX XX. 2. I want to claim XXX XXXXX.
and prioritize the drops. 1. For the first claim in which I'm successful, I drop XX XXXXXX. 2. If both my claims are successful, also drop X XXXX.
So if a team with a high waiver gets his first claim, for his second claim he will move below every other team that did not have a successful claim. If he and another team put in a claim for a second player, he would need to remain ahead in the waiver priority to land said player.
it might sound a touch complicated ... and if everyone thinks this is a good idea, and Praline's worried about extra work for him, I'd be happy to take on waiver claims as a responsibility.
Thought?

Brock Bradford is a good pickup. My friend has played with him and Brule and he told me Bradford has better stick skills etc only he is a bit smaller tha Bule, hopefully he can get by that in the new rules though.

I dont like phillies idea....lets just keep it the way it is....if u wanna have a easier time pickin players up off waivers then finish worst in the league.....its not like we are picking up NHL superstars off waivers here....the guys who are available that are on NHL rosters are mostly 4th line forwards/3rd pairing defensemen.....
