BJ passes my former players to Habs like cheap whores. First Zubrus, now O'Marra haha maybe you should talk to Habs about a trade then? he does seem to like your stuff, and he's pretty easy to get the best of

also thought i'd give my 2 cents on getting ryder and o'marra. I know ryder had an off year, but i feel pretty confident he'll rebound this year, also i know o'marra been offered around the league, but i feel pretty good about him making the nhl and getting steady time on a 3rd line, hopefully 2nd. on the flip side arnott is a good addition for bj if sundin retires, if not he's good to go at center.

okay, so I know I said i was done but Im really bored and trading players is fun
plus I really needed to get Satan and Nagy off my 4th line and this accomplishes that. Moving Langs opens up a spot on the 3rd line for Nagy
Cole Staal Whitney Antropov Nylander Parise Hunter Belanger Nagy Carter (!?) Smith Fiddler
Campbell Jovo Lydman Boucher Gilbert Ward
Biron

I obviously like trading too lol. im nearing completion though. i felt i had to reshape the roster and so i gutted the team again and made sure I got a top 10 goalie this time. The last deal was to increase my forward depth since Sundin is probably going to retire. Getting Langenbrunner and Satan up front would ensure I have enough decent forwards. nash sundin alfredsson cammalleri arnott satan/langenbrunner pandolfo bergeron satan/langenbrunner sim unknown kostopolous kubina hannan roszival mclaren berard mara Vokoun

Every team in the Central is now a contender for the Cup, IMO.

I'd say it's certainly close if not over. It's also horrible team management to be trading picks 3 years out for an old dude who has a few left in him. Never sinks in though because a year from now the 2012 picks will be going because they don't matter they're 3 whole years away.

I think it's obvious that Wally has a career in used car sales haha. If he doesn't, he should get on that.

Obviously, my farm team is not much to look at. Trading draft picks away is not helping their status, I realize that. However, my team has a window, such as it is, and I think Roddy can help the team now. If my team gets out of playoff contention and that window shuts, then I'm sure one of you all might be looking for a veteran center to help open your window. I'll want draft picks. Maybe not the ones I'm giving up, but I'll get some back. I think I've done pretty well in this league so far...

i think if brindamour was to be traded in the nhl this is what the canes would get for him I would love for the Canes to be able to get a first and second for Roddy but I really don't think that will or would happen. Just my opinion. Yes his leadership and faceoffs are valuable but everything else this year has been off. Maybe the surgery and his age finally caught up to him and really don't see a first and second coming our way. I think this trade is really borderline as well.
