I voted Ovechkin. The question is will AO break Mario's record of 100 pts as a rookie?

lol his draft year is 1 year ahead. It's just another excuse to why crosby isn't as good as AO. would have been a 2 years if wasn't but for acouple of days! Yeah, and you would have been a bitch if it wasn't for one little chromosome too.

And as an FYI, Selanne had 132.

Im not sure if miller is actually eligable. I heard he wasnt and thats why he isnt on buffalos top 20 prospects list anymore on HF. Tsn has him in their calder race so I'm pretty sure hes considered a rookie

Not only does Ovechkin have more points, but he's emerged as a leader of an overachieving team. Crosby, meanwhile, is on a huge underachieving team.
Don't know if this should be taken into consideration in the vote, but I'm just making it known.

I'll still take Crosby. He does more than stand at the blueline waitin for the outlet pass. Crosby actually goes back into his own zone and back checks. The game is on TSN tonight so check it out if you don't believe me.

theyre still both rookies and is a rookie trophy, not the youngest rookie doing slightly worse than the older rookie trophy. okay then, so in baseball, should someone who comes over from the Japanese leagues be able to win the ROY in baseball? even though they've had nearly a decade of pro experiance over in Japan as compaired to another kid who has only had 0-3 years experiance in minor league ball?

We're talking less than two years, not 10.
AO: 151 games with Dynamo. Sid: 121 games in the Q
And the last time I checked, the Q put out more players than all of Russia *shrug*
