Can't be a record, b/c Selanne had more than 130 his rookie year. I think Lemieux had 100 right on the dot. I think Joe Juneau had more than Lemiex, too.

Flyers is right, Juneau had 102 pts in his rookie year. He played 14 games the prior year but still think he was considered a rookie the next year. And as an FYI, Selanne had 132.

Not only does Ovechkin have more points, but he's emerged as a leader of an overachieving team. Crosby, meanwhile, is on a huge underachieving team.

Most of Crosby's team give half an effort. Most of AO's team bust their ass.

I'll still take Crosby. He does more than stand at the blueline waitin for the outlet pass. Crosby actually goes back into his own zone and back checks. The game is on TSN tonight so check it out if you don't believe me.
