I don't know if everyone realizes this or not but in regards to the WSH/MTL trade. Magnus Arvedson retired on Oct. 11 so does that mean he should be out of our league or come the trade deadline he'll be taken off the roster. I'll post the link where it says this too. www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/player_bio.asp?player_id=127&hubName=Just thought everyone should know, especially WSH if he didn't already.

I like the trade Boston made recently.

I think a first-round pick is a bit much for a 31-year-old 75 player, even if it'll be a late-round selection. But i understand where Boston's coming from ... TB made a big move, so the rest of us in the EC need to counter.

Brunnette is pretty good. hes always an offensive leader with the Wild he just doesnt get any fan fair because of the Wild system where nobody gets 60+ ponts.
he may get a small ratings increase when the NHL has another season under its belt.

Thought Atlanta made off like a bandit.
Good trade for Minnie though for a couple months.

This trade is pretty much rental players for me. Naurov means nothing to me and Noronen is pretty much the thrid goaltender in BUF. Even if Salo stays in Sweden and doesn't retire, he'll take a hit in his ratings and be comparable to Noronen. Numminen is just to shore up my D a bit and give me some experience. MY top 6 really aren't affected if he retires. So really this trade doesn't even hurt me in the future either.

Rumor out of Boston is that after all these deals if the Bruins don't make it to the finals, the GM may be fired.

We both felt sad in this trade, he has come after Redden at least 3 times now and finally was successful. Im sure Redden is a welcome addition to his team and Mike Richards is the key player coming to Nashville who likely now boasts possibly the best top four pp specialist... which isnt much to brag about. A press conference is scheduled for Nashville within the next 48 hours to welcome the new players to the team and let the fans know why the club had decided to trade away their captain just before playoffs.
