I thought the guerin trade was fair, both the players going the other way are decent, and guerin is old as frick Guerin just turned 34 which isnt that old. hes big, and strong and determined and will probably play for another 5 seasons or so. As a Dallas Stars fan, I watch him and he was the Stars best player last season and scored over 30 goals. Hes the real deal. Ricci and Simon would be line 3 and/or 4 players to most teams in our league |

Guerin may play 5 more years but he'll only be good for 2 of those...well as good as he is now...

Ricci and Simon are both good players and would be good for a playoff team especially with their leadership and experience, plus even though they are not producing that much offesnively can contribute some to the offense. But I will talk to CHI and see what else I need to add, I don't want to cause any commotion in our league. I just want Guerin in my lineup to improve upon my 5 game winning streak. Just wait til Guerin comes in and then I kick some major ass. ;D |

I really wish our draft criteria made 4th rounders valuable, I would draft through 5 rounds myself having heard of every player I take prior to the draft if I were able to.

Desjardins and Jonsson are basically the same player except Jonsson is five years younger. I don't mind this trade as much, but I think a better draft pick should be included instead of 3 4th rounders.

Guys don't worry like I said I am talking to Wally and we are figuring out what would make this trade "fair." There is no need to continue to harp on it. Every time there is a trade in this league that people think is unfair, I think people fail to realize that we are negotiating what would make it fair. It is understood the trade was unfair and we are working it out now so let's leave it at that. There is no need to continue to say it has to be revised, it is being revised. |
