Nice trade Canes. Got rid of two busts. Stefan is far from a bust. He didn't reach his full potential but he is the top defensive player and probably the only leader the Thrashers have. He has a lot more value than the points he puts on the board.

Stefan is pretty much a slightly younger version of Bonk with maybe not as much offensive potential.

Mike Ricci and Chris Simon for Bill Guerin!!! lol. A 3rd liner and a 4th liner for a grade A superstar? lol I was kind of expecting this to happen. I just want to say for the record that I asked DAL what he would want for him and that is what he responded with. He then had other offers but said mine was the best. How can I say no to that. I will be glad to talk to CHI or TB to see what else I have to add to it.

I'm not quite sure what Dallas was thinking. His 1st deal was fine but I think he dropped the ball on this. Oh well, we all lose a few deals. I won't even get into whether it's 60-40 or not.

He then had other offers but said mine was the best. No one is ever expected to say no to a good offer. The funny thing is Minny I offered Nylander a 2nd and a 3rd for Guerin as part of that last trade lol jeez....

Well if it gets approved as is, great. If not, like I said I'd be happy to talk to CHI or TB to see if I would need to add more to the deal.

I doubt Wally lets this one through without some revision.

I thought the guerin trade was fair, both the players going the other way are decent, and guerin is old as frick
