oh wow what a bad trade!  I never would have thought somone would trade his entire team for Sergei Gonchar and Daymond Langkow. Now wait, hold on! Jon Aitken and Benoit Mondou make the deal at least 60-40, right Blues? |

All he gave thats good is Gonchar, you could argue Langkow too but hes a career 2nd liner at best, 3rd liner on a lot of teams. HA Isles likes Langkow a lot and offered Gagne for him strait up and I turned him down. Not only have I followed most of Langkow's career but anybody can project Langkow is twice the player Conroy is and he is gonna put up stellar #'s playing with Iginla. |

Gonchar is the best offensive defensemen in the NHL and GMHL  Oh that's right he's only an average #1 since im dealing him and not trading for him  |

Actually I am not crying over it I am pissed because every trade I do everyone thinks I get screwed. If you all haven't noticed it is fatasy and not real. I know we have a 60-40 rule and I am fine with that but every trade I do everyone seems that it is worse than that. So to use a when I'm not just doesn't make sense when someone is pissed. |

Yeah I think the trade is terrible too, Blues gets 5 bonafide top 20 guys for 3 atmost.

This trade is brutal islanders, all of the guys you give up are young for his old foggies. This shouldnt be approved, Blues stop being so desperate to win and doing all these crazy deals, just wait for the salary cap and then its a leveler playing field, you said it yourself you liked having hemsky and guys like that rather than these old stars. well now you trade langkow who I know is one of your favorites, whats up with this?!

Actually this deal gives me the depth to attempt to aqquire a top young LW that I have really wanted for over a year. As much as I like Langkow he wasn't performing the way I wanted him to and on top of that Gagne is young a Flyer who I like as well. My only problem forsay with this deal is it hurts my current defense but I like getting some youngins to replace Zubov and MacInnis in the future. Gonchar is by no means an "old foggie"...he's 30 years old and just had an excellent season. He is nearing his prime years and he's on a top team in the NHL to play them on. Konowalchuk is 32 years old and players like him will play until they are 40. The guys a warrior 2-way foward who thrived playing a leadership role on the Avs. Let me add the point of this league is to win fantasy hockey games. It's nice to sit back and watch your team develop if that's what you want but I can careless about watching prospects. I want to see my team dominating a lot of games like they should be. |
