No one talk to me, I just traded Gagne............... I doubt that gets approved. It would be different if you were dealing Morrow and Bell there instead of just Gagne though  |

If this gets approved I'm gonna have to seriously think about changing my FHL predictions, putting the Blues up front. Being as I hate everything Oiler in this world I like the trade cos it will make the Oilers suck even worse! Oilers are horrible Flames rule.

Now that I've actually looked at the Oilers sucky line-up I realize how dreadfull they are!! You could honestly compare them to the Rags. If you want a laugh take a look at the Oilers roster...

Let me predetermine Blues argument. Tambo and Seidnberg are future franchisers and Ozolinsh and Stevens will retire in one year.

Let's see a 1st rounder in a deep draft year, a future top 4 defensemen, and a scrapper and I get a rent a player top 4, a 76 OV player who has a 62 DF, and a 3rd. He wins this deal easily in the future. Stevens could still retire too....

So close. If Stevens is going to retire soon I reccomend you take the top 4 dman and the franchise center blues.  |

My view of 60-40 is bigger than some here but no way Blues latest should be approved. Tmbellini and Seidenberg are average prospects.

My view of 60-40 is bigger than some here but no way Blues latest should be approved. Tmbellini and Seidenberg are average prospects. Tambellini is a lot better than average. He was a 1st rounder in a deep draft and in a draft like last year he'd definitely be a mid 1st round pick. You underrate Seidenberg and you don't like him for some reason. He showed in 02-03 he was a future top 4 defensemen and he had really good PP skills. I already established you must have ignored him in all 58 games 2 seasons ago. This year he was beat by Pitkanen (big surprise) and after winning a spot Ragnarsson broke his leg...... I am giving up a lot of future here IMO. Stevens has little value since post-concussion syndrome could pretty much end his career. It's a risk but im hoping he stays and is able to come back. Ozolinish also had a season ending injury and his ratings are anything but good this year besides his 76 OV. He does have a lot of value to him as a PP QB who can't play defense and he is the centerpiece of this trade because im hoping he comes back and has a good year with the Ducks. So for 1 season I get the use of 75 OV Scott Stevens. Decent but it's for 1 season more likely than not. I also get a top 4 defensemen and an alright PP QB in Ozolinsh plus a 3rd in 06. Oilers gets a former 1st rounder, Seidenberg who is a future top 4 (anyone disagree?), and a scrapper he gets to use for 1 season. So in a few years he'll have a top 6 foward and a top 4 defensemen when I'll have an aging Ozolinsh and whoever I take with a 3rd. IMO this deal is similar to the deal I made with Walker except im giving up more for less....It's also similar to Tampa's trade for Brind'Amour and Niinimaa. |

Tambellini is going to make the NHL for sure since he is a LA kings prospect and they suck....Seidenberg will be in the NHL full time (not a number 7 defenseman) the next season the NHL plays.....Stevens is retiring anytime now and I aint gonna be competing for a playoff spot or such so i should get rid of him and have a better spot at Crosby....
I see the trade as this:
tambellini seidenberg for ozolinsh and a 3rd....
Stevens and brandner are both garbage players that the teams didn't currently need so we switched....
