I'm excited about adding Jarod Palmer, he's pretty close to being NHL ready. That said Al Stalock was the best pick up out of the bunch IMO.

I like the Wick pick. He had a good olympics. Could be interesting to see if he can translate his game to the NHL.

The Senators' claim of Fredrik Wentzel should be Fredrik Petersson-Wentzel (G). That's why you couldn't find him. www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/fredrik_pettersson-wentzelNOT to be confused with the other Fredrik Petersson (RW). What makes it even more confusing is both are on the thrashers. |

Ben Lovejoy is already on the rangers roster Objection! He's not listed on your Roster or Prospects page... Also glad to get Henrik Karlsson and Alexandre Giroux. I've heard some hype on Karlsson, and Giroux could get decent minutes in Edmonton this year after leaving the Caps organization where he was buried on the depth chart. |

Ok a few things regarding waivers:
Ben Lovejoy - claim is void as he is on NYR files in my spreadsheet.
Also what are the rules regarding selecting players through waivers that were drafted this year. I know it has something to do with their age and draft year but not sure what rules we follow. The reason I ask is that several players taken though waivers were just drafted this year:
Fredrik Pettersson Wentzel, DOB 7/23/91, drafted 5th round/128th overall
Dalten Prout, DOB 3/13/90, drafted 6th round/154th overall
Kellen Jones, DOB 8/16/90, drafted 7th round, 202nd overall
Zach Trotman, DOB 8/26/90, drafted 7th round, 210th overall

if they are passed over we can add them via waivers during the season, but not after. If these guys were not 09 eligible and passed over then they cannot be selected from waivers

oh...ok...i thought that as long as they passed their eligibity year, it was ok..
i did actually check all of these birthdates and eligbiilty but i thought it was ok..
i am so sorry Wild if this wasnt right. if the rules are different, i will stop these claims at my level instead of yours. i will await word on these...

I don't know what the rules are either just noticed they were all drafted this year but they may be overagers so it may be OK. Guess we have to go by what Florida has said since I think he is a draft moderator. |

The guys that I claimed are all overaged. Their draft year would have been in 2008 (I believe) so they were passed over 2 years in a row. I believe that is how it works?  |
