To Columbus: Mats Sundin Rhett Warrener Jaroslov Modry To Montreal: Dainius Zubrus Jeff Fingers Tim Kennedy Washington 3rd in 09 **pending Minny's approval** Haha I hope he retires. If he doesn't it's definitely a good deal for BJ. If I were Montreal I would've held onto him. Depending on what kind of deal he signs if he continues playing his value should've been higher than this.

yep, its all a roll of a dice for me on this one. if he retires, then its just a failed attempt and thats fine.

If Zubrus would get his head out of his ass, then Habs might have something. I almost traded for Zubrus, but just couldn't do it because he's too much of an unknown.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That may be the case, but from what I've read, he could be more than a 15-goal, 40 pt player...without Ovechkin.

Zubrus has the talent to be more than that but I agree with ATL he probably never will be. He won't do it by himself and needs help to be that productive. Even if he has the talent around him, I'm still not convinced he would put up those numbers again. He's got top 6 talent but plays like a third line guy.

I was happy to get rid of Zubrus this offseason. I was always under the impression that he could put up another 60+ point season without playing on a line with Ovechkin. The harsh reality is that it's just not going to happen.

hey Rags, is Dan Markov coming back to the NHL? I think he is, he was offerd a contract by the Kings, but hasn't signed it yet, supposodly refused a physical for now but he's probably just wanting to see if he can get a better offer somewhere else, but if he doesn't I think he'll sign, it's worth the gamble for a 4th round pick

To Florida Panthers: Phillippe Boucher Peter Harrold Rhett Warrener To Columbus Blue Jackets: Kyle McLaren Scott Hannan Cory Murphy pending approval This trade needs to be looked at to determine whether it's within 60/40. Columbus absolutely destroys Florida in the deal.
