1. Hannu Toivonen - I still think he'll end up being a more athletic Khabibulin. 2. Alexander Radulov - Leads the Q in points 3. Corey Perry - Murdered the AHL before the Ducks made room. 4. Igor Grigorenko - Is about 90% after almost pullin a James Dean. Is 5th in RSL scoring even though he's on a team that doesn't score much. 5. Nicklas Bergfors - Having a good year despite being the youngest player in the AHL. Had a good WJC 6. Scottie Upshall - Is too good for the AHL (33 points in 21 games) but Nashville has no room for him on the wing until next year. 7. Jack Skille - Good year at Wisconsin playing on the 3rd line. 8. Ray Emery - Decent year as Haseks back up. 9. Marek Zagrapan - Had a great WJC and is putting up good numbers in the Q. 10. Evan McGrath - After being snubbed in the 04 draft McGrath has picked it up the past 2 years. Is 4th in OHL scoring. 11. Enver Lisin - Russian boom or bust. Probably similar to Berezin. 12. Jakub Sindel - Sniping center. Has 11 goals in the Czech league. 13. Julien Ellis-Plante - Steals games for his Q team. Is small in the net and is a reflex goalie. 14. David Krejci - Raised his game a level this year. Fair sized center with great vision. 15. Mattias Ritola - Swedish two-way winger that is a few years away 16. Tomas Pospisil - Czech offensive player playing well for Sarnia in the OHL. 17. Christofer Lofberg - Lanky Swede with speed and hands. 18. Kris Russell - Would have been a 1st rounder is he were 6'1. But he's 5'10 and slipped to an early 3rd. Had a good WJC for Canada. 19. Denis Istomin - Good sized Russian winger with offensive skills. Plays in the RSL.
Graduated: Brent Seabrook, Duncan Keith, Staffan Kronwall, Jeff Carter and Rene Bourque.

Mine won't compare with the top teams (FLA, CHI, NSH) but it's a solid group.
1. Cam Barker - Disappointing season but still regarded as one of best D prospects in game. CHI should have a roster spot for him next season. 2. Alex Bourret - 4th in the Q in scoring. Looks like he's being fired out of cannon when skating. If he can stay in shape, he should work out well 3. Cory Schneider - Having a great sophomore season at BC. Close to .930 SP and GAA just over 2. Think he has 4 SHO as well. Could jump from the college ranks to the pros after next season. 4. Alexei Kaigorodov - If he comes over to the NHL, this guy could be a sleeper. Regarded as a similar Igor Larionov. Great hockey sense, great skater, and known for passing. Time is running out for him to come over though. 5. Konstantin Glazachev - Very small but is a sniper. Good hands, good skater, and plays a feisty game for a small player. 6. Kris Chucko - Points wise his production is not very good but he is learning and developing. May not develop into a scoring power forward but could be similar to Thomas Holmstrom. 7. Chad Denny - I know someone said in pre-season that he couldn't skate, but he's having a great season in the Q. In top 25 scoring for D and still plays tough. 8. Nathan Davis - Could be a steal in the late 3rd round. Playing great at Miami (Ohio). Played well in World Juniors. Great penalty killer who's developing a scoring touch. 9. Brodie Dupont - Developing his game nicely in WHL. Responsible 2 way center. Could develop into a poor man's Mike Peca. 10. Chad Painchaud - Another late find, really developing a a nice sniper's touch in OHL. Could be a great 3rd line enery guy with a chance to make it to 2nd line if he bulks up. 11. Mark Popovic - Not sure how much longer he'll be considered a prospect, but has found his offensive game again back in AHL. Just don't know when ATL will give him a shot. 12. Ahren Nittel - Not a great scorer, but great size. Plus he's a NJD prospect and they do a great job developing players. 13. Aaron Voros - Another NJD, also has great size. More scoring ability than Nittel and plays a physical game as well. 14. Tomas Mojzis - Getting some playing time in VAN with all of the injuries. His offensive progress has slowed and he still needs to work on the defensive side of the game. Could be a PP specialist. 15. Randy Jones - Good stay at home defenseman. Good size and will take the body. Makes a nice outlet pass. 16. Siarhei Kolasau - Playing in the USHL. Huge defenseman who if develops his game some could be another late find. 17. Cody McCormick - Another energy player. Good size and plays a gritty game. Getting some playing time with the Avs.
Again, I know it's not a great list, but it's well rounded. Think I need some more help at goaltending and maybe a C.

Wild, Barker isn't having that bad of a season. I think he's just bored.

Yeah that could be a better way of explaining it. He doesn't have tons of points but I think he may have had some nagging injuries. Still he's my best prospect and one of the best D prospects in the game (not currently in teh NHL)

I have a pretty sad bunch but here goes:
1. Jeff Frazee- Not having a great year in the NCAA but has great skills and should be the starter next year at the WJC.
How Acquired-Drafted in 2005
2.Blake Comeau- I didn't draft him but Chris took him in the 3rd round of 2004 and this guy has turned into a great player. Could make the Islanders out of camp next year. A winner.
How Acquired-Drafted in 2004
3. Jeff Woywitka- Not having a great season in the AHL and his development has stalled a bit since being traded from Philly, but he's gotten some NHL time this year and is probably ready to make the next step
How Acquired- Trade
4.Ryan Callahan- A 4th round pick of the Rangers, Callahan is one of the top 5 players in the OHL, a natural goalscorer who does everything well, may not even need a year in the AHL before he makes the jump.
How Acquired- Waivers
5.Bruno Gervais- Very good offensive defenseman is lighting up the AHL this year. Will almost certainly make the Islanders next year and definitely has PP QB qritten all over him.
How Acquired-Trade
6. Marc Methot- Defensive defenseman was the Knights best d-man all year long in their Mem Cup run. Quiet but very effective. Blue Jackets brass loves him and he will make the jump sooner rather than later.
How Acquired-Waivers
7. Patrick McNeill- Was once the 1st overall pick of the OHL draft, but his development stalled until being selected in the 4th round by the Washington Capitals last summer. Has absolutely exploded offensively and leads all OHL rearguards with an incredible 68 points in 57 games.
How Acquired-Drafted in 2005
8.Stanislav Lascek- Boom or bust pick was passed over twice in the draft before being selected in the 5th round by the Lighting. Leads a dynamic Sags offence with 114 points in 55 games. There is no denying his offensive skills the only question is how well they can translate to the pro level.
How Acquired-Waivers
9. Nikolai Lemtyugov- I know very little about this prospect except from what I saw at the World Juniors. Has explosive offensive skills and is a great skater. Definitely looks like he could be an NHL scorer and that is backed up by ver respectable numbers in the RSL for a 20 year old. 18 points in 34 games.
How Acquired-Waivers
10. Dan Collins- After a hot start in the OHL Collins and linemates James Neal and Jared Boll have cooled off lately. Plays bigger than the 6'1 he is listed at and is a force around the net. Next year will tell the true story about his development. A project.
How Acquired-Waivers
Honorable Mentions
Mark Giordano Ramzi Abid-Great again in the AHL..is that his peak? JP Levassuer Kamil Kreps Phil Oreskovic-Development has stalled. May be a bust. Cristoph Gawlik-Will be drafted after good year in DEL Andre Benoit
Graduated
Jerred Smithson

Ben Bishop, one of my picks last season, was named top goalie for the NCAA East Regional. Maine's not missing Jimmy Howard at all

James Neal had a great postseason for Plymouth, even tho they got the boot from Guelph.

Calgry recalled two of my guys for the playoffs, Richie Regehr and Tomi Maki. Neither is likely to put on their pads, but it should mean they'll get shots out of camp next year.

Yeah, Omaha got elminated so Sutter is running two practice times, one for the regs and one for all the extra players and injured players and stuff like that. Give all the young guys some experience a little bit too. They prob wont see anything but who knows.

1. Matt Carle - Top prospect on the sharks; WJC Gold medal winner, two NCAA championships, Hobey Baker award winner, cracked SJ at end of season straight from college and then got good minutes during the playoffs. Should be a number one line PP guy on the Sharks next year.
2) Bobby Ryan - Top prospect on the Ducks; great size, great hands. Last year got 95 points for the Owen Sound. This is one of those bright spots coming into the NHL. Will probably not make the club next year and just develop for one more year.
3) Mark Fistric -Captained and had a good year in Vancouver last year, dominates the game physically. He will turn pro next year and probably recieve a few call ups in Dallas unless he makes the team.
4) Josh Hennessy - Got 63 points in the AHL last year, and was a top prospect for the Sharks. He got traded to the Senators as part of the Havlat 3 way deal. He should see some call ups next year in Ottawa.
5) Ryan Stoa - One of the Av's better prospects. Big powerforward who knows how to use his body. Will probably play another season in juniors before moving up to pro.
6) Scott Jackson - Injured during part of the season, came back and played exceptional. When Jackson was hurt the, "Thunderbirds were only 5-for-92 (5.4 percent) on the power play. When Jackson was healthy, Seattleās power play was successful 13.6 percent of the time." Hopefully plays pro hockey next year.
7) Grant Lewis - Might spend another year in NCAA but is already ready to make the jump to pro. Bright prospect and should be able to make my top 4.
8) Matt Smaby - Really good defensive defensmen. Known for his massive hits and is likely to make pro in 2 years and maybe earn a spot on Tampa.
9) Ryan Stone - Hard working player who is willing to drop the gloves. Is offensive but IMO is more likely to be a good 3rd liner in the future.
10) P.A. Parenteau - Had 22 goals and 49 points in 56 GP in the AHL last season. In the playoffs he got 22 ponts in 19 games. Will see action with the ducks next year.
I think i have a really good group of prospects with what I was drafting with (traded a lot of picks).
Honourable Mentions: Alex Edler, Jesse Shultz, JF Jacques.

1. Tuukka Rask - I'm higher on Rask than most, but I feal not only will he start in the league, but he'll be a star as well. 2. Travis Zajac - Has 1st center upside, likely a 2nd line center though. 3. LeLand Irving - I thought of the Cam Ward comparison even before the pubic did. He could be a real big time , big game goalie. 4. Simeon Varlamov - Arguably the most pure upside of the 06 goaltending class, I love his athleticism. Reminds me of Khabibulin. 5. Kendal McArdle - Marco Sturm like, good 1st liner very good 2nd liner with speed, work ethic, and finishing ability. 6. Matt Niskanen - Not far from Lee, much like Matt Carle he had a slow freshman year but expect a big sophomore season. 7. Keith Yandle - Insane offensive upside from the blue line. Great speed, size, puck movement, shot. A steal of the 05 draft. 8. Perttu Lindgren - Similar to Petteri Nokelainen, plain steal in the 05 draft. 9. Dennis Persson - Highly skilled, mobile, puck moving defenseman. 10. Kris Chucko - Big time physical presence will be the utlimate third line winger or a decent second liner if he learns to utalize his shot more..getting out of the NCAA will help. 11. Jeff Petry - very safe bet to be a stud 4th defenseman who can play the PP and PK in 5 years. 12. Joe Pavelski - Besides skating, this highly skilled two way center can do it all. 13. Kirill Tulupov - Upside through the wazzooo... Can't wait to see how he progresses. 14. Mason Raymond - Blistering fast goal scoring winger who can be a one man high light real, but isn't selfish by any means. 14. Mike Morris - a real good third liner if his concussion's are no longer an issue. 15. Michael Vernace - Offensive instincts are through the roof for this defenseman. 16. Jakub Vojta - Play was hit and miss for me in the OHL after leaving me thinking he had 1st round upside with his play at the U-18's a year ago. Enigma from the back end. 17. Chris Collins - Almost won the Hobey, Boston needs a guy like him... sneaky, slippery, sniper with speed. 18. Felix Schutz - Call him Marcel the second. 19. Brian Bickell - Huge shot, great frame, could bloom with talent around him in the AHL. 20. Patrick Ehelechner - Safe bet to be a very reliable #2 goalie, wont' star though... Back up to MAF.
Graduated:
Steve Bernier - I don't consider him a prospect anymore, he'll be a top 3-5 power forward in the game in his prime and could challenge for 100 points some day. Milan Michalek - 30 goal, 70 point upside in this blazing fast, big, ultra skilled two way left winger. Marcel Goc - Either one of the best third liners in the game some day or a very good second liner. Doug Murray - Thank him when he's injuring half the league.
