Thanks stars, I was pretty warry of his NHL ready calibre before I drafted him. This was the primary reason why I never red shirted him, I expect him to be the first of the 6 players I drafted in the 2005 draft to crack the NHL. I am extremely high on Setoguchi and habe thought of putting him above tukonen and Pouliot, we'll see how it goes.

Everything I read had Setoguchi even saying he'll prolly be back in juniors this year. Oh no question that's where he is going IMO. I'm just saying that he has been excellent in the rookie tournament (out performed Kopitar in every way) and was named the games 1st star in the pre-season, and was excellent. Sharks brass, I mean alot people are really starting to see he was worth the 8th overall pick. It has nothing to do with the Dub.

Yeah I wanted Setoguchi in every way this draft we had. I had a down trade lined up to trade down from 14th-19th I think it was and I passed it up cause I didnt want to risk losing Seto in those 5-6 spots that Id be trading down. I took the heat for it and so far its paying off like I had predicted all along, though it really doesnt mean alot, I know Ill hear you all say that. But good signs are a nice thing too!

I haven't done mine in a while ... so I'll go with a top 10: 1. Tim Ramholt, D — If this guy comes over, he could be a good one. Of course, that's up in the air, hence making me hate Europeans . How acquired: Drafted by previous Flyers GM 32nd overall in 2003 draft. 2. James Neal, C — Doing a good job in the OHL this year. Power forward build. How acquired: Drafted 37th overall in 2005 draft. 3. Johan Franzén, C/W — Becoming a very solid defensive forward and a key piece in the Detroit PK. How acquired: Drafted 116th overall in 2004 draft 4. Clayton Stoner, D — Tough defensive-defensemen. Playing well in the AHL this season. How acquired: Drafted 103rd overall in 2004 draft. 5. Mike Morrison, G — He might be a one-hit wonder, but he seems to have at least established himself as a No. 2 netminder. How acquired: Waiver claim 6. Ben Bishop, G — Has shined with Maine in his freshman season. He's 6-5 to 6-7, depending on where you look and lived up to his billing. Has lots to climb over in the Blues system. How acquired: Drafted 71st overall in 2005 draft. 7. Johan Fransson, D — Another Euro who may or may not come over. The potential's there ... a VERY poor man's Sergei Zubov. How acquired: Drafted 29th overall in 2004 draft. Drafted 29th overall in 2004 draft. 8. Magnus Kahnberg, LW — A star in the SEL ... but he may never come over. How acquired: Trade with Detroit, for a 2006 4th-round pick. 9. Aaron Rome, D — A stay-at-home guy, he's NHL-ready but not getting his chance in Anaheim. How acquired: Original roster selection by previous Flyers GM 10. David Booth, LW — Has picked up his play of late and won CCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors a couple times. How acquired: Drafted 52nd overall in 2004 draft. Others — Richie Regehr, Victor Oreskovich, Ryan Munce, Tomi Maki, Mark Tobin, Andrew Thomas

Since Preds included Vanek and Lundqvist, I'll include all of my "prospects" playin in the NHL (I'm assuming our definition is not currently rated?). Mine probably haven't changed that much:
1. Ryan Suter - his upside puts him above the others 2. Jussi Jokinen - first/second line minutes in Dallas. Extraordinary offensive skills. 3. Keith Ballard - putting up very solid numbers with the Yotes, getting lots of PT 4. Patrick O'Sullivan - leading AHL rookies in scoring 5. Mike Green - great offensive talent, doesn't look out of place in Washington. 6. Colby Armstrong - surprisingly solid stat sheet with the Pens 7. Jeremy Colliton - limited offensive potential, solid checking line winger 8. Filip Novak - finally putting together a breakout year with Binghamton, still only 23 9. Radek Smolenak - in the midst of another solid season in the OHL, should make the jump from juniors next year 10. Marc-Andre Gragnani - really like his potential as an offensive d-man
Is Derek Roy still eligible? I figured not since he played 49 games with Buffalo last NHL season. If so, he'd probably go somewhere around 6 or 7.
