I'm a big vancouver giants fan (whl) and i've seen the blazers a good number of times, and i cannot understand why dubnyk went in the first round. He's big but hes kinda slow and plays his angles poorly. My favorite from him was in game 5 of the first round this year, the Giants were up 3-1 in the series and the blazers were up 4-1 going into the third, seemed like i just wasnt gonna see the giants take it at home, but Dubnyk cracked under the pressure, he gave up 3 third period goals and the winner early into overtime on a fanned breakaway shot, the place errupted and dubnyk crouched over realizing that in the 3 or 4 years he was a blazer he had never won a series, they lost in the first round every year. I don't know about him, he doesnt seem too solid

GOod thing I didnt draft him. Schwarz looked like the best of the three first round guys to me. montoya a close 2nd.

Yeah the only thing that concernes me about Dubnyk is his size. I think 6'6 might be too big for a goalie. I agree with Preds, Schwarz first, Montoya a close 2nd, everyone else pretty far behind.

Hey guys. I'll be making my pick sometime today. I'm still trying to work out a trade which involves it. Just be patient with me!

Just want everyont to know, that I am working on a trade that involves the 28th pick, so it may take some time before a selection. I have a question though, if I make the trade and it gets approved, how long does the GM who gets the pick have to make his selection? Does he get 24 hours from the 27th pick or from the time the trade is approved?? I hope to get a hold of the GM today but he has not responeded to my PM's yet, he may have gone away for the holiday. But if I don't hear from him, I'll make the pick and keep it for myself.
