Atleast your attempt worked. For your information the reason Islanders didn't want to do my deal (which was going to be approved) is because of your incessant whining and bitching about Niedermayer's true value. It took him what 3-4 weeks now to get a better offer. I knew one was going to come it just took 3/4 weeks of you crying about how Nieds is so valuable.

Not to mention you try and rip him off yourself. Isles doesn't have the best roster anymore (thanks to you ripping off Mel so many times....) so their 1st round pick will probably be a decent pick (mid round would be my projection). You trade Niedermayer for Chara when both were candidates for the Norris and the difference between 1 and 2 is a 1st round pick

1 OV point and 3 and a half years. Exactly. No where near a mid 1st round pick.....

Because the guy who abused the original trading rules more than anyone else now gets to not let anyone else get better. In other words this league is about you. This isn't the NHL where we have a good deal of super powers we have 1. 1 team that no one will be able to get near (except drafting steals in the draft accoring to you : . Everybody knows it.

Exactly. No where near a mid 1st round pick..... I still wouldn't have ripped him off like you said i would have. I didn't want to deal Chara in the 1st place. Was tryin to get over all the Nieds talk. Luckily Jackets stepped in.

Look at Tampa's team, your team, Jackets team. There's more than 1 really good team. Sorry for havin a good fantasy draft by the way. Didn't know you would get so bent out of shape over the prospects i picked in the mid rounds. That is how i built my team, the fantasy draft.

Didn't know you would get so bent out of shape over the prospects i picked in the mid rounds. That is how i built my team, the fantasy draft. A good fantasy draft eh? You traded decent prospects (nothing special besides Lupul) for Poti. Then you traded Poti who had a poor season for McCabe who had an excellent season. You traded 1 decent prospect (again Volchenkov is no Adam Foote) and two high picks in a rather weak draft for Niedermayer. You traded Adam Foote and a prospect who is looking to be a bust for JBO, Staal, and Bouchard. You traded 2 prospects who should of had good seasons but didn't for Sundin. You traded a few older 3rd line players for Brendan Morrow who just helped you get Kovalchuk who was the final piece for your dynasty. Your team wasn't built through the fantasy draft. You came out with a good team no better than 4-5 other teams. Your now an excellent team through trades.

Slowley but surely the salaries will even it out. Say Sundin ends up with a 1 year contract in our first year (random contracts for the first year) then someone can easily outbid Wally, because of the cap he will have 0 spending money pretty much.

I agree it will. It will hurt a lot of higher end teams too.

Like mine, I may not have the best team but Mario and Jagr are probably going to be two really high paid guys.
