I'm not so sure that Reichel's ratings will go down this year. Does that mean that Thornton's ratings will go down because he's playing overseas also? Because of the lockout, the ratings may not be as affected by players in Europe because half the freakin NHL is over there right now. Reichel doesn't have an out clause in his deal. So if there is half a season his rating would go down based on that. Mariusz Czerkawski and Forsberg are in the same boat.

Didn't realize he was over in Europe for good, pretty much. Oh well. I've just gotta hope that he comes back to the NHL next season.

With my latest deal, I have reached my goal when I took over, for my 20 dressed skaters to all have a rating of 74 or over.

Im surprised I havent been criticized for my recent trades. I was expecting to hear something about the Brindamour trade. I just need reason to justify my actions!

I don't like your recent trade with CGY because he could be my rival in the division to make the playoffs and I think he got better now. Plus I tried to get Nilson from you and you said you weren't going to move him because you liked him so much. Bastard!! Oh well I do think it is a fair trade, I guess I'll just have to see how my team responds. Though it has been rumored that GM Bearman has been active in talking to other GM's about possible deals. What could he possibly have up his sleeve now??

I did put my foot down when he asked for McCauley though

I did put my foot down when he asked for McCauley though so that's all it takes is some nagging, huh? I thought that's what wives/girlfriends were for? So you won't move McCauley, huh? You sure about that, what would you want for him. I've got tons of guys I'll move. You can now expect that I will nag as well, only I don't have as much interest in McCauley, though I would not complain if I were able to get him.

Just interested to see what you guys make of mine/phillys trade, as i really dont trade a lot, just wanted to get your opinions. From a personal point of view i think it was a pretty even deal with both teams getting exactly what they wanted.

Like I told 'Nucks, it was the most even trade I've been a part of since joining the league ... I think we both dealt away and for exactly what we wanted ... neither seemed to be looking the upper hand.

I think in the light that i keep conceeding all these goals, the thing that pleases me about these trades is that i have increased my leadership and experiance on the blueline as well as improving the defensive rating between the players traded by +18 so im hoping that should be a gd plus point and help bring down the goals against per game
