Don't worry guys - Hockey's Future (besides hfboards) may be the worse rescource far as prospects though.
Their rankings are absolutely brutal .. not only their top 50 but team by team as well. I think their entire staff does nothing more than read news paper clippings and look at each players statistics.
I don't see any clear evaluation taking process here.

The criteria is ridiculous. Toews, Price, and Johnson are clearly full time nhlers. How is Voracek ahead of Bobby Ryan etc.? No mention at all of Schneider?

They going by their criteria of when they consider a prospect graduated. They can't just go and change that on the fly to suit a few guys. Hockey News had Price No. 1 and no Toews at all. IIRC, Voracek was ahead of Ryan in Hockey News, too. And Schneider's had a rough year. He did make the big "got votes" list, though. Anything more?

Schneider had a rough start to the year, since I think he's been one of the hottest goalies in the A', I could be wrong. I don't know how Voracek is a better prospect than Ryan, Ryan has proven he can produce at a pro level.
I read speculation this is an old list labeled as a spring list so maybe that's why Schneider isn't on it.

They going by their criteria of when they consider a prospect graduated. They can't just go and change that on the fly to suit a few guys. Criteria should be changed then if nhl players slip through the ranks. Perhaps make it if a player has played a certain amount in a season rather than total gp or something.

What's the criteria then? Minutes?
They're a standard criteria that they've always followed, that are right on their site for everyone to see on each team page. You can't just change it on a whim. It's 65 games, Toews played 64.
Tlusty played 58, but I think we can all agree he didn't get the chances Toews did. But if you make a standard criteria, you can't change it just b/c you think Toews (or anyone) is too good to still be considered a prospect.
As for Schneider, he had a good second half from what I understand, but a bad first half. He almost made it. The Voracek-Ryan thing is close, IMO. Ryan had five goals in 23 games. He was point-per-game in the AHL, but so is Jeff Tambellini, and he can't dent the Isles. Ryan hasn't proven any more than Voracek as far as what the future holds, in my eyes.

Bernier is number 9?! LOL. Thats a joke. This guy is the most overrated prospect there is.
