I dont know who thinks this is a good idea, but I think its almost necassary to start team profiles on every single franchise in our league. Heres an example, the reason would be that once a GM leaves, the one who takes over can see a history of the team and where its headed and get a good feel for what he has. I think they should follow a slight template but have its own personalized areas from each GM who was an owner of that certain franchise at any given time. These will continue to develop year by year with the starting roster changing each year. These possibly should have there own area on the board as they will only be refferred to when we get new gms or just for interesting facts

GM Notes on the team: I wanted to start young but instead of drafting nothing but guys with potential I went for good players in their mid 20's to early prime. Trades came along and I became a serious cup contender in the 03-04 season but lost in the WCF's. This team is set up to be a contender for years. The biggest key to success is to know your team in and out. Have expectations and don't be afraid to do something radical because that one thing might be the key to winning it all.

WOW what can i say, i set about to build a young team and thats all. To be Honest i really didnt know what i was doing as i am completely new to the game. My team surpassed all expectations and made it to the play-offs loosing in 7 to the eventual winners, the Blackhawks. I look to repeat with my team and get them back into the play-offs next season.

GM Notes on the team (03-04): The Phoenix Coyotes had an up and down season, followed by a playoff appearance that left the city wanting more.
An average team, the Coyotes were led by captain Ron Francis, along with Geoff Sanderson and Sean Hill. A bad stretch of games in January led managment to believe they would not be making the playoffs, so some of the older vets were moved to give them a shot at the cup. Theo Fleury, Andreas Johansson, and the captain himself Francis were all moved prior to the trade deadline.
And then a funny thing happened. Thanks to the contributions of Jeff Taffe on the 4th line, and the moving of Olli Jokinen back to center, the Coyotes went on a tear and squeaked into the 8th seed.
No one expected them to win their first round match up against the Blues. Winning game five put them one game away from knocking off the top seed in the East. Consecutive losses in games six and seven were heartbreaking.
The future is uncertain for the Coyotes. With their current line up, they should make the playoffs again, but likely with another low seed. This off season should be interesting to see which route managment takes to improve the team.

Can we get some more Gms to post these? I think its going to be extremely useful in the future when it comes to records and stuff, we already lost all of our Fantasy draft records pretty much, so lets work on creating a history for our league. Plus when new Gms take over a team itd be nice to see what the last GM had planned for the team and left them with.
