Comeau with a goal and Downie with an assist through 2.
No-contest though.

Good to see Dustin Boyd notch two goals in Canada's win. What a late round gem for my team... I drafted him 5th Round, 142nd overall in the '04 Draft.

Okay, First off. WOW what an experience. Awesome Atmosphere.
For Players I was asked to watch
Risto Korhonen - He played well. Didn't notice him much but he was solid defensively.
Mikko Lehtonen - Other then one bad giveaway that led to a goal in the first he looked good and skated well. He was dangerous with the puck and also seemed to see the Ice well.
Teemu Laakso - This is another player I did not notice much of. Played alright I guess, but nothing that stood out to me.
Jonathon Toews - I thought he looked good. He skated well and was going to the net hard. Hewas given more ice time then i expected and did well with it. Nothing fancy, but still a very good player.
Ryan Parent - Good defensemen. The only thing that stood out to me about him is when he got clocked in the face with a stick, that's about it. But he held the fort well and was able to block a few shots. Should be a good d-man someday.
As for Benoit Pouliot he did nothing that made me impressed. Somewhat invisible all night and I hope he picks his play up.
For guys that stood out to me.
Tuuka Rask - Had never heard of the guy before but was good positionally and made a number of tough stops on a strong Canadian offense.
Juho Jokinen - He played pretty good, and has a funny name. yoo hoo
Andrew Cogliano - Damn that guy is fast. I never knew how bad he had wheels and moves liek that. Real hard worker and a real dangerous player. I was very very impressed.

Tuuka Rask - Had never heard of the guy before but was good positionally and made a number of tough stops on a strong Canadian offense. Rask was one of my favorite net minders coming in to the 05 draft but hes been pretty lack luster since then good to here he's picked his game back up for the tourney

He did.
He was the only reason the game was semi close.

Ya, the Canadian forwards did more then expected. One of the hardest forechecks ive seen in a long time, and Finland's D just wasn't quick enough with the puck. Rask had to make a number of good stops to hold canada to 5

Joensuu was awful.
BTW Bobby Ryan is the States 13th forward it seems, which is absolutely ridiculous beyond belief they grudge they are carrying to this day with him for choosing the OHL. An absolute farce, and if it continues I guarantee the States do not win gold.
