Keep an eye on Smolenak (Kingston) and Wharton (Sault-Ste.Marie) for me. Anyone seen these guys play yet? Smolenak has 10pts so far, not bad. I've seen Wharton twice and he hasn't impressed me at all. I hear he's been benched a couple times already this year and it doesn't surprise me because for a puck playing defenseman he makes very poor decisions and is very weak at breakout passes and the like. Seems ok defensively, not a real physical guy. Plays a lot on a mediocre Hounds team so that puts him under a lot of pressure. Thanks for the eval, Pitts. Let me know if you get a chance to see Smolenak. |

I'm going to make it a point to catch the Fronts at least once soon. How much are tickets to see CHL teams? About 15-16 bucks Canadian for an adult. The American teams are around 12. |

i watched a Mississauga(Spelling?)-Ottawa game and I noticed one thing....Cody Bass is brutal...I dont know who has him but if you do have him and you dont got him red shirted then drop him.....
he had 4 points in 9 games the game I saw him and he is the first line centre that gets a lot of PP time so he should have way more points....he only did one good thing the whole game when he laid out Kevin Couture and injured him....

The hitmen somehow are a good team this year, they started the year 7-0 but have now lost two in a row which sucks. They have a rock solid D and goalie but our forwards are lacking.

Yeah, i've seen him three or four times by now. he's not really my type of player, but he's big and strong and has a beauty shot so it's only a matter of time before he starts scoring goals and not leeching off Callahan. |

BTW, who has Micheal Blunden. Aside from Bobby Ryan, he's been the prospect i've been most impressed with this year.
