Whats with Heppner, he came for one day and hasn't been seen on the boards since. I thought we were looking to get some active GM's not inactive GM's.

OK, it looks like Florida made his selection around midnight last night, so San Jose has until midnight tonight to make his selection. That OK with you Phoenix?

I'm just curious because I think we decided that if you miss your pick, you would be kicked out. I know SJ has not posted in a while but he did make his first pick, so if he misses this pick, is he kicked out? I've been told that he's doing some camp or something and does not have access to a computer until the weekends and that could be why he has not posted in a while. I could be wrong there so I'm just wondering how this will work if he does miss the pick.

If he is away, I can understand that, but he still should have known that his pick might come up while he was gone. He could have sent an e-mail to Phoenix with his picks.

I'm trying to get in contact with him. He sent me his picks via email for the first round, but I didn't see he was up again at 13th overall. If he doesn't select, we have to give the San Jose Sharks the best player available (can't penalize the team) and I think in Mike's case we can make an exception. He's a good GM when he's not working over the summer.

How would we determine the BPA?

Can I just have his pick and he can take mine later in the first round, instead of giving him a player, this will give him time whenever he gets back to make a selection. My 100th post, I feel like a new man, let's make it a holiday

Not to be mean or anythin but i say skip him. Hopefully it's a lesson to GMs in the future. Being all nice, nice about it isn't goin get the point across that we want active GMs.

I kinda agree, I was really hoping for him to be an active GM in this league, but we dont see him, at all, on the boards.
I say give him the WPA! hahaha
seriously, unless PHX is willing to take responsibility(which it seems like he is), I say skip him

I am actually going to the same camp mike is going too, I didnt know he was at it already. That camps actually where I met Mike, but anyways, its true, no computer access at all. I'll see if I can get a hold of him, might be able to call the camp if hes there right now. I am going to that camp in 2 weeks and 2 days (a little heads up for later on down the road) I'll see what I can do in regards to contacting him. I have given up chasing after him, so if he screws up this team again then its not anyones problem but his, but this is an acception, I'll see what I can do. BPA is the only other choice , which would be Wheeler? I dunno what his team needs are. I know we chose staal first overall for the calgary GM when there wasnt one in place since he had luongo and blackburn already, didnt need fleury. I think we should follow that same scenario here if it comes to need.
