I'll call him tomorrow and let him know it is his turn to pick. He can go online briefly from home to make his pick if he has to.

The Buffalo Sabres would like to announce that they will not be making a pick at #124 and are done with the draft.
Boris Valabik, Niklas Grossman, and John Lammers will be redshirted.

Phoenix went very Euro, after taking a wild card with their first selection. 19 Robbie Schremp 24 Lauri Korpikoski 34 Roman Voloshenko 49 Zednik Bahensky 79 Juraj Gracik Thoughts? Pretty good. Doesn't hurt to have four picks within the top 50 but still. Schremp is a steal at 19. Korpikoski is a safer pick but projects to be a pretty solid checking winger. And you should know by now that I really wanted Gracik. He could be a helluva steal...or bust. Regardless, he's worth the risk at 79.

Detroit's GM is gone until Thursday, but I'll try to get in touch with him tonight to see who he wanted because I know he intended on using the pick.

if I had to guess, I think our Polish friend, HabsGM, picked Roman Polak simply b/c of his last name ... ;D

You only picked him because your hoping he some how changes to adam foote. You are correct, only partially. There are so many players available to be drafted, a name like "Foote" sticks out. i couldnt possible do research on every player still available. So...I chose to do some research on Foote...yes because of the name lol. I like what he brings to the table...apparantly he is very fast and love to play a tenacious game. The joke on him is that there is footspeed and then there is "foote"speed...i guess hes very nimble.
