Hey guys I know I am supposed to pick now but I have a tentative deal in place which includes this pick. I'm just waiting to hear back from the GM. Is it going to be a problem if I don't pick/trade by my deadline. I'm not going to stay online all night to wait for this GM and then post the trade cuz it would still need approval. So are you guys OK, just giving me some time to get the deal finalized and approved.

Actually if you look at the post where I picked Brent, it was edited to say that I had until Wednesday at 2am so I still have a few hours left.

well this pick is pretyt ridiculous, just cause you made an error doesnt mean you should be granted a fresh 24 hours, i think your time was up a long time ago, Im not really ok with this whole thing just for the sake of fairness but to be honest I couldnt care because I am possibly done drafting (DONT TAKE THAT AS A STATEMENT SAYING I AM DONE BECAUSE I MAY NOT BE) so it doesnt effect me much but we'll see.

It's an easy error to make St. Louis, the pick is now yours. Try and get it in ASAP.

I thought flyers picked Victor Oreskovich on monday. brent was picked on monday too. So you had until tuesday at 2 am to make your pick. Phoenix made a mistake and said wednesday. That's 48 hours.

Wally and Preds, I see both of your points and I do apologize. Believe me I hated to hold up the draft and I was prepared to pick a player. I got a very late offer that I liked and it took some time to negotiate and get approved. While Wally you are right it should have read Tuesday at 2am, PHX is a draft official and I went with what he posted and didn't even realize the mistake. While this may sound like an excuse, and I guess it kind of is, I do apologize for holding up the draft. It was not my intention to hold this thing up or to cause any more problems. That probably won't make any of you feel better, but I felt that I should at least apologize to those of you who may have had a problem with what transpired with the most recent pick.

If you want to be technical the Flyers made his pick around 2:50 PM on Monday which would give Minnesota around 2:50 PM on Tuesday not 2 AM. He made an error of selecting a player that reentered so he got leniency because it was new.

well, if you did choose hedman, I have a question, did washington actually take him? I read somewhere that he went undrafted but also that washington took him? Whats the actual truth?

Washington drafted him in the 4th round I believe. What a freaking steal. And damn you Blues, I had my eye on Hedman with my 87th pick.

I semi had my eye on hedman, I thought he was undrafted though so I didnt take him earlier, meh not too worried about it, dang though, Washington drafted really well this year in RL I think. I thought Lepisto was a steal too, not to mention ovechkin, wonder if they are on the right track now.

I also think Yunkov was a great pick late in the 2nd and supposedly that Swiss guy they got in the 6th round(Guggisberg or somethin) is pretty good. Not to mention their two other first rounders: Schultz and Green. I thought they took Bourque way too early, but when you have a ton of picks like they did, you can afford to take some risks. Oh yea, and Hedman was actually taken in the 5th round.
