San Jose's time has expired. Will he be awarded a pick or skipped? Grrr. Lets get on the ball people It he hasn't sent in a list to cover his picks, then let's skip the pick and move on. He shouldn't be just given a player.

Does anyone remember this email from Praline?
The GMH Entry draft will begin at 9am EST on June 28th, 2004. As of right now, the first pick in the draft goes to Anaheim. Anaheim will have up to 24 hours to make his selection. Whatever time Anaheim makes his pick (according to the board) the next GM (currently San Jose) will have exactly 24 hours *from that time* to their selection. If you have the 4th pick, don't expect to make your selection on the 4th day, because in the past drafts of this manner tend to move quickly. I'd recommend all GM's check the board at least once a day.
On that note, any GM that does not make a selection within 24 hours of their allotted time will be removed from the league, no questions asked. This will remove the inactive GM's. I already know of two teams who are without GM's, and I expect about two more to leave based on draft activity. Again, post on your home team message boards (I'm done trying to get Tampa fans in here) to come fill out our application. We will have a couple spots to fill, and there's no better time to get in then for the entry draft. If you're receiving these emails and no longer wish to be a part of the league, please let me know so I can attempt to have you replaced.

That's true, I just want to get this thing moving. Sorry guys, I just worked all day Saturday. I'll figure out the BPA and put it in, - I haven't checked my email yet, for all I know there's a list in there. Everything will be back on course soon.

"With the unused 40th overall selection the St. Louis Blues are proud to select foward Ron Jeremy."
Is this just make our own rules as we go along?
The 40th pick goes into the book as unused.
The deal hasn't been approved and it's not goin to cause the 40th pick was skipped. There's no goin back.
This means you jump in front of Tampa's pick? Blues, are you drunk?

I have to work at 12:30 EST, so I won't be here to see if he's made his pick or not. If he has not, carry on without him, that pick will be skipped since he already has three redshirts. Sorry Wally im afraid you don't make the rules around here so I don't give a **** what you say. Im gonna wait to see what Phoenix says on the matter but as far as Anaheim and I are concerned his picks were skipped. Meaning they lose value and go down to wherever the draft was at. Skipped IMO doesn't mean cancelled.

Skipped IMO doesn't mean cancelled. Ya right. I skipped my 3rd rounder in the 03 draft. I think i'm goin to go back and use it now? The 40th is in the books as not used. The pick was wasted. Just like my 03 3rd was wasted. Besides, the deal wasn't approved so how can you use the pick? "38 David Shantz (EDM) 39 Kirill Lyamin (DET) 40 no selection (ANA) 41 Andy Rogers (WSH) 42 Mark Fistric (FLA)" So you can just jump infront of Tampa and pick before him? Where in the rules does it say that?

yeah ... this is horsesh!t. First off, you have to wait for a trade to be approved before you can go through with your pick, so right there you're in the wrong.

These are completely different circumstances between you skipping your 3rd in 03 Wally. You opted out of the draft which Anaheim never did. His computer crashed so now he loses the two 2nd rounders he had? You skipped your pick by choice just like I did in 03.
I see your point about making my pick before the trade was approved. What pick were we at anyway 59? If it was Anaheim's 3rd in a deeper draft might be in the 60-70 range as he is one of the weaker teams in the league. There is no way you can tell me that this deal isn't 60-40. It isn't the 40th overall pick anymore. He is already punished by the pick losing value but your saying he shouldn't even be able to use it? That IMO is horse ****. Forget about me cause it's no big deal if this trade doesn't go through. I could get a much better prospect next year but your ****ing over a guy like Anaheim who traded for the 40th pick.

I deleted my selection and have no problem hearing it from the guy who actually runs the damn league.

but your ****ing over a guy like Anaheim who traded for the 40th pick. No i'm not. Don't make it look like i'm hurtin Ducks team. It's just bad luck for him that he had computer problems when it was his turn to pick. We all waited 24 hours for him but he couldn't get to a computer to make his pick so he was skipped. It sucks but it happened. Those are the rules. Take it up with Phoenix if you have a problem with not being able to go backwards in our draft.

I wonder who would win if Wally and Blues were to get into a fistfight?
