Well, lets go back ten years.
1993/1994 - 58 games (good amount for a starter, first season starting too)
1994/1995 - 41 games (I believe this was the lockout year)
1995/1996 - 59 games (again good amount)
1996/1997 - 67 games
1997/1998 - 72 games
1998/1999 - 64 games
1999/2000 - 34 games (could have been injured I am not positive)
2000/2001 - 67 games
2001/2002 - 65 games
2002/2003 - year off
2003/2004 - 14 games (injured)
So in the last 10 years he has only played less than 30 games once and less than 40 once. I would say he is not always injured, would you?

Well, lets go back ten years. 2002/2003 - year off 2003/2004 - 14 games (injured) That's all I need to see, as a Flyer fan anyway.

LOL!! Its goin to be interesting to see how the trade officials treat the Boynton deal. Its basically Rachunek for Boynton - who is an all-star and Boston's #1 defenceman. interesting dilemma Well lets just compare stats for Boynton and Rachunek shall we. Boynton 81 games 6 goals 24 assists 30 points +17 98 pims Rachunek 72 games 2 goals 19 assists 21 points +8 33 pims So 9 points difference in the 2 with 9 less games going to Rachunek. So if Rachunek played the extra games I am sure he would have matched Boyntons point output. As for Boynton being Boston's #1 defenseman you are kidding yourself. Boston has Gonchar who is miles ahead of Boynton. Rachunek will be playing on the Rangers top defensive pairing this year and will have more playing time also. So I do think that the deal is in the 60/40 range. It's not our problem that you don't like any deals that are made Columbus. Just deal with it.

Im not complaining. I just said it was going to be interesting to see how the trade officials handle it. I dont get involved...in other words, "I can deal with it" lol. Boynton is Bostons #1 defenceman with a bullet. He actually understands defence and was brought on to the all-star game for a reason. Boynton is also younger than Gonchar. As for Rachunek, everytime I see him play...i'm left wondering what his contributions where. I just dont like him as much as you, dont take it personally

Lol....I dont see Rachunek getting 1 point per game....if that were the case he would had 72 points not 21 points. If he played those 9 games he woulda ended up prolly with 22 points.

the 3rd rounder in the boynton deal should be 2nd rounder IMO to make it 60/40.

I think Isles loses this deal badly, but I do think it is 60-40.

Poti or should I say Potty. I love how Rachunek gets overrated when I trade for him now underrated when I try and deal him For everyone information Karel Rachunek was rated a 77 OV last year with a 78 DF. Boynton was a 75 OV with a 74 DF. They switched this year. Rachunek is gonna have a bigger opportunity on the Rags than he ever did on the Sens.

the 3rd rounder in the boynton deal should be 2nd rounder IMO to make it 60/40. Last season the GM of the Sharks wouldn't dream of dealing the 77 OV Rachunek to the Isles for 75 OV Boynton. But now since Rachunek is a 75 and Boynton is a 77 a 2nd rounder as to be added. How about we all take a look at someone's career instead of 1 season's ratings.

LOL...Rachunek sucks and you know it. LOL. he was traded along with Alexandre Giroux for only Greg DeVries...who is no Nick Boynton lol. Im not saying my view on the 60/40 scale because I wasnt asked. All Im saying is Rachunek sucks As for your depth chart. Yes, I'd have to say Potty and KAsparaitis are ahead of him. And Rachunek will have a hard enough time cementing top four status with Tjutin, and Thomas Pock knocking on the door

I believe next years ratings Boynton and Rachunek will still be similar. Your crazy if you think Kasparaitis is better than Rachunek it's not even close. Tjuitin might top him in a few years but Pock will never be close anyway isn't he like 24? Im not positive on that though. Greg de Vries is an excellent all-around defensemen. In 02-03 he had the 2nd most even strenght points as a defensemen in the league. He has some value to him hence the Rags got Rachunek. I'd personally take what the Rags got without even thinking it. I personally do like Rachunek but I prefer Boynton's physicallity over Rachunek's excellent passing.

You got Rachunek because he's good but you are trading him why? because he stinks hahaa Kaspairaitis is better than Rachunek at this point in time. Mayebe we should make a poll lol. You diss Pock because you dont know much about him. Hes solid....ask Mr. Praline...its just that watching Rachunek is like listening to brit pop...its cheesy. DeVries is good but his best years are behind him. Hes just an good 4th-6th defenceman.

This is for the new guys - after a trade please put "Pending Wally's Approval". I keep updated rosters of every team, and it throws me if that is not there. I don't know if the trade is accepted or being revised. Thanks.
