Can anyone really think of any who have impressed quite a bit since draft day? Aside from Malkin and Ovechkin I think the 04 draft was really weak... theres a couple guys who have impressed like Green but I cant think of very many at all. What are your guys thoughts on the 04 draft now that we have seen the players from it for almost a full year?

I knew that name would come up... we'll see about him, thats just the generic name thus far for a player who in some peoples eyes has had success so far.

Well, I won't say he's blown people away, but Clayton Stoner has really stepped up this season, and I got him with the 103rd pick.
Last season he was 7-24-31 in 71 games with Tri-City in the WHL. Through 54 games this year, he's 10-33-43. I don't expect him to be an offensive defensmen, but the fact that he';s showing flashes of offensive talent increase his chances of moving up the Wild organization. He's only 20 and he's already 6-4, 215.

For my team I would have to say Liam Reddox. I did pick him up on waivers after someone dropped him.

Lesse, my three picks 12 - Al Montoya - haha, I still like him 42 - Mark Fistric - too bad about his glass jaws, still could be a defensive stalwart 102 - Peter Olvecky - not a bad season in Slovakia, playing with Hossa and Gaborick at times
