"Hensick, TJ (FLA)" He opted out of last years draft. He's not eligable to be a waiver player for us. He was not passed over in the 04 draft because he was not eligable. He has to be drafted in our draft this year because he's in the real 05 NHL draft this saturday. Sorry Panthers.

you're going to lose hensick ... he's not draft eligible until this year, so he could still be picked. Being that I'm the Michigan hockey authority here. sorry .. would've been a nice claim. \ are you sure? He wasnt just passed up? Besides I thought the rule was anyone whos draft year had passed is eleigible, regardless of whether they opted in or not

But looking him up now he didn't opt in. Sorry I told you the wrong thing Panthers...

I would have taken him our first waiver week but read an article on him that said he opted out last year.

Personally, I don't see why anybody doesn't want Tommy Salo. He's rated 77, and will be my backup to Brodeur. I know he retired, but I can still use him up for a year, to make way for Cam Ward as the heir to Brodeur's throne. No takers?

b/c once he's filed for retirement, you can't use him anymore immediately. It'd be different if he just left ofr overseas.

Wait...I thought you can use him as long as he's rated. You can't, since when? I know once they retire they become unrated, but DVHL isn't doing the rerates for this year, so I figure I should still have a year to use him. Can anyone clearify?
